About Mr. Hoben

Bio

My name is Michael Hoben, I am a lifelong resident of Bullitt County and a graduate of Bullitt County Public Schools. I am married (Katie) and have two children (Lily, 9) (Barrett, 3).

Education

I attended the University of Louisville and am certified in Social Studies, grades 5-12. I will be completing my Master's degree in School Counseling in December of 2021. I have always had a love for all things historical and I love sharing this knowledge with my students.

Experience

This is my 5th year at Bernheim Middle School. I have taught 6th grade Social Studies all 5 years. This is the third year I have taught World History and I am very excited to travel from 10,000 BCE through the fall of the Roman Empire, stopping at 500 CE.
